Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located in a great spot, very close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and points of interest. The rooms are clean but have some drawbacks like the noisy air con unit and security bars outside the window. The service had some issues with overcharging, but the atmosphere was good. The dining experience was pleasant in a lovely breakfast room. Overall, a nice option at a decent price.
The hotel exudes Belle Époque character in its room decorations, even though they were a bit small. It was a quiet stay except for the air conditioner noise. The staff were very helpful in finding a replacement and were attentive and accommodating. The location was excellent, close to the famous Promenade des Anglais and easy walk to Vieux Nice. The dining experience was very nice, with clean rooms and friendly staff, although the decor was ordinary. The facilities were lovely and in a quiet location near the city center and the seafront.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and tidy, although mine was in the basement with plain white walls, not like the pictures. The hotel is spacious and overlooks an enclosed courtyard garden where you can relax or enjoy a drink. The service was a bit of a letdown when they mistakenly claimed we hadn't paid, but they were discreet and available for assistance. The location is excellent, close to the beach and Promenade, with quiet surroundings for a good night's sleep. The dining experience was adequate, not superb, but with plenty of options available. The facilities were good, with room service and car hire available if needed.
I stayed at this hotel and loved the convenient location, just a short walk to the beach, train station, and the charming old town with amazing restaurants. The rooms, although very clean and comfortable, were on the small side; nevertheless, the white walls in the basement were not as appealing as shown in the pictures. The service was friendly, though there was a confusion about our payment initially. The location was great with easy access to the beach and a short distance to the bustling main street, but it felt a bit shady at night. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the continental breakfast in the lovely garden area. Despite some minor flaws, my stay was pleasant overall.
The hotel has a charming traditional French decor, with daily provided toiletries and tea/coffee. While the rooms may be a bit small for those with a lot of luggage, it's delightful to have the window open and enjoy a cup of tea from the in-room kettle.
I stayed at the hotel in one of their small and outdated rooms where water leaked in the bathroom, and later at their more hostel-like property for the night. The service was warm and welcoming without being intrusive, led by the chic and charming Barbara Kimmig. The location was excellent, close to Promenade des Anglais and the old town. The dining experience offered homemade delights in a belle epoque styled room. Facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, with very friendly staff, in a great location close to the water and many attractions. The dining experience is adequate, and the pricing is reasonable.
